School of Pioneers – London Diocese
Church Mission Society and London Diocese have joined forces to launch a new school to identify and train lay pioneer leaders.
Applications are now open for the second cohort of pioneers at London Pioneer School.
Pioneer School is a partnership between London Diocese and CMS that provides lay pioneers the knowledge, skills, and understanding to launch and lead Pioneer ministries across the diocese.
In 2020 they’ll be working through six modules:
- Introduction to Pioneer Mission
- Mission Spirituality
- Theological Reflection
- Pioneer Leadership
- Mission Entrepreneurship
- Missional Church.
The Course is delivered by practitioners across six input days and 12 learning circles throughout the year.
Here’s the dates for the 2020 input days –
18 January, 15 February, 21 March, 25 April, 30 May, 20 June, then an end of year gathering on 12 December.
The evening learning circles will take place on 29 January, 27 February, 1 April, 6 May, 10 June, 1 July, 15 July, 9 September, 30 September, 21 October, 11 November, 2 December.
The price for the course is £1,000 per person but some bursaries are available.
