Hats off to Sussex pioneer

Congratulations to CMS Pioneer Emma Moreton on the opening of one of the country’s more unusual hat shops in Battle, East Sussex, last week.

As a lay member of the CMS pioneer community, Emma uses her creative skills to produce tailored outfits for steampunks, goths and the alternative community, building relationships and sparking conversations with people who are unlikely to be in a church.

To coincide we’ve also published a really fascinating interview with Emma and her husband Glyn that they kindly gave us when we had our day on mission with people who are spiritual but not religious in the summer.
