Some of our wonderful students have made short videos to share what they love about CMS Pioneer Mission Leadership Training
Anyone considering taking a course of study is going to want to know what the students really think. So we asked a number of our current students, from certificate to PhD level, to share their assessment of CMS Pioneer Mission Leadership Training.
We also asked them if they would recommend it to others – and we’re pleased to sya the answer was a resounding yes!
Christine Cattanach, from Hereforshire, appreciates networking with other pioneers as well as the reflective emphasis of the training.
“It’s helped me join up my own thinking with loads of really good theory and good practice all across the place, across the world really,” says Christine. “It’s really interesting to be able to journey with other people and hear about other contexts and other ways in which pioneering is working, and sometimes not working and why that is.”
Rosie Hopley is a social entrepreneur doing the African Diaspora route through the MA. Again, Rosie loves connecting with other learners from Africa, the UK and Europe. “The MA has given me a framework to explore and develop my thinking on some of the injustices related to the transatlantic slave trade and the impact that has had on societies, the church and gospel mission and its legacy which we must wrestle and face today,” says Rosie.
“I’d recommend studying with CMS because I get the impression they really care about their students’ learning experience, they listen to our feedback and together we’re excited about what we are learning and discovering and it feels like a great partnership.”
Children and families pioneer Marcus Giddy says of the course: “They provide a fantastic platform for you to explore and deepen your understanding about a vast range of subjects including mission, leadership, evangelism, and to hone your skills of reflective practice and contextual mission. They also provide a safe environment for you to wrestle out the questions that you might have and the new ideas that you will discover.”
