Resourcing estates evangelism and mission – tell Jubilee+ what you think!

Are you involved with evangelism or social action, or are you part of a church planting team? Do you do this on estates or urban areas? If so, you could help to shape a study into a potential online resources hub for the church across the UK, by completing a short survey.

Rosie Hopley has just started studying with us here at CMS on the African Diaspora Route MA. Rosie would like to ask for your help with a brief project and survey.

I’ve been commissioned by Jubilee+ to work on a three-month feasibility study concerning the development of an online resource hub for Estate churches in the UK. The most under resourced sector of the UK church is those churches in deprived, largely urban communities or Estates. Each denomination has its own strategies and priorities, and we’d like to hear from you.

As part of the project, would you be willing to complete the short survey, which will take up to 25-30 minutes? The survey will be open until Friday 12 November 2021.

Your responses will help to inform the study into whether there is a place for a highly developed ‘go to’ online resource hub as a unique contribution to this area of mission. This hub could host an extensive range of resources to equip existing church leaders on Estates as well as church planting teams.

If this sounds of interest, please do follow the link to the survey.

Or if you can think of someone else in your area who might be interested, please pass this on to them.

I’m especially keen to hear from people in the following areas:

  • Hackney, Barking and Dagenham
  • Sunderland, South Tyneside
  • Liverpool
  • Bradford
  • Birmingham
  • Middlesbrough
  • Hastings

Thanks in advance,

Rosie Hopley
