It was exciting this month to see Out Of The Box cards launch a kickstarter campaign and raise their target within one week to get their enterprise underway. Jenny Baker brought that idea to Make Good three years ago this November.
During the week she explored the idea, refined it, knocked it around, thought about the values and vision behind it. She wondered about what model might work, what team might be required, what resources she might need, how to measure its effectiveness and how on earth to fit it into her life.
At the end of the week she pitched the idea to a room of fellow make gooders and a panel whose response was overwhelmingly positive. It was a brilliant idea and pitch. She went away and it percolated for a while before she got together with some others to develop a team who have then made it happen.
We love seeing people’s ideas come to life which is what Make Good is all about. Maybe you have an idea for an enterprise or project that will make good in the world?
The next week runs from November 12-16 at the amazing Pickwell Manor in Devon. There are still places available – see here for more info and for contact details (scroll to the bottom of that page). You’ll need to book soon!
