What is it? Music and poetry night after Conversations Day 14 Oct

This is to let you know about an evening curry and concert on October 14 following on from the conversations day on Pioneering Spirituality. Gavin Mart is taking part in the day and together with Martin Daws is touring at the moment so it seemed too good an opportunity to miss when they offered an evening of the tour that day. Their tour is entitled ‘What is ‘it’?  So we are now going to host an evening with curry and spoken word and soulful music at CMS off the back of the day. It’s short notice but equally we think it might be hard to resist. Here’s the info you need to know…

An evening of explorations into the heart of spirituality through the arts, with music poetry and conversation featuring Gav Mart and Martin Dawes + special guest Harry Baker!

The curry will be at 6pm and the spoken word and music at 7pm finishing by 8:30pm

At CMS Oxford

£10 which will cover the cost of the curry. We’ll also hand round a bucket/hat to contribute to the artists. (It’s free for you guys contributing)

We need to know numbers a.s.a.p. so please email Anne at anne.henriksen@cms-uk.org to say if you are coming. Please do not leave it to decide until the last last minute – we need numbers for food.

We will have an open mic slot so those of you who are poets please please pluck up courage and bring a poem.
