Leadership Succession for Pioneers

We love the guys at Sheffield Centre – for years it has felt like we are all part of the same team!

One of the things they do particularly well probably because it’s at the heart of what they are about is research. The latest research bulletin (click to download the winter 2011/12 issue 9) of theirs explores the issue of leadership succession. When a pioneer or founder starts a church or community or mission initiative what happens a few years down the line?

Download it and have a read. The thing I particularly got from this is that it’s a question that needs thinking about early on by pioneers and not at the point when it’s time to move on.
