gav mart has only been in post as a methodist venture fx pioneer for a couple of months but has already spotted an available pub/hotel in the centre of colwyn bay, raised funds to lease it for the first quarter, contacted lots of local artists and has an exhibition featuring 26 stations and over 30 artists telling the easter story with a bundle of events wrapped around it. sounds like colwyn bay is the place to visit this easter! the dream is to make an impact and create some momentum towards developing the hotel into an arts and community space. gav is one of the pioneers in the first year and seems to be on a roll…

Our launch event will be Easter Story Exhibition opening March 30th – April 8th (Easter Sunday) 2012. Our Easter Story Exhibition will host 30+ national and local artists through a diverse range of media, the show will welcome familiar traditional styles, along side projection, photography, installation, soundscapes and spoken word. The Easter exhibition will also host various mini events at the Imperial Hotel in Colwyn Bay. Engediarts promises a captivating opening night, various acoustic music performances, urban poetry, and a memorable closing Easter Feast.
