Thank you everyone who came and made this year’s pioneer conversations day – Future Present – such a good day. We hope to follow it up by publishing the presentations in some format – maybe a book. Watch this space.
I think it’s a theme that could run a lot further. I think the day took quite big sweeps of the brush as it were – reimagining cities, church, God, spirituality and so on to join in with the mission of God, the healing of all things. But I also think this idea can be extremely practical and local – in other words how do I imagine being a parent could be done differently, or the way a deanery is organised, or relationships between different communities in my village. And then act locally in the light of that now. I hope we might collect some very local focused ways if running with this – get in contact if you have something like this…
