Open day is coming…

I wanted to remind everyone that this coming Tuesday 14 June we have a Pioneer open day here at CMS. It is the last open day of this academic year and actually the last until spring 2017, so well worth encouraging people to join us for if they are interested in studying with us this coming academic year.

Susann Haehnel, our CMS Vocational recruitment manager, met someone at the Church Big Day Out who had been on one of our open days. Susann was told that the CMS Pioneer Open day was incredibly helpful, and how she loved meeting with CMS staff and all the other interested candidates; she immediately felt at home and like she belonged. It helped her to see how the training can assist her in her local situation and she’s keen to be involved with CMS’s training.

So if your friends are curious and ask any questions, here are the key points:

Where?

Church Mission Society, Watlington Road, Oxford OX4 6BZ

When?

Tuesday 14 June. The open day will run from 10.30 to 2.30, starting with coffee (and includes a light lunch).

Why?

We offer a chance to get to know about the course, meet key people who run the course, tour the building and library, meet others on the journey, express yourself, and get your questions answered!

What do I need to do to join in?

Email Helen.Harwood@cms-uk.org this week, to book your place

If you cannot join us for the next open day, but wish to join us in the future, or know someone who would like to explore Pioneer study at a future date – our future dates are:

14 March 2017

and

13 June 2017

Please do pass this blog post on to any friends, contacts, colleagues, members of your worshipping community, who may be interested.

Thank you, Helen
