These were the words of advice/encouragement form Bishop Andrew Proud to pioneers at the graduation celebration this year. It was a wonderful day with around 27 people celebrating – certificates, diplomas, MAs, becoming lay pioneers, getting ordained. There is a write up here and if you are in facebook some photos here.
Each student was given a gift of a path in gold on a stone tile to represent making a path where there is no path. It also looks like a script or language as part of pioneering involves finding new ways of talking. These were made by Iain Cotton.
It was also a day on which we said goodbye to Andy Freeman who has been part of the team for the last 6 years and has been a brilliant friend and colleague for both students and team. Go well Andy – we are cheering you on!
